How do I add a notetaker to a Google Meet call?+–
Paste the meet.google.com link on your Flashscribe dashboard. The bot requests to join like any guest - admit it and recording starts. There's nothing to install and no Google Workspace admin setup.
Is the Google Meet notetaker free?+–
Your first meeting is free, up to 30 minutes, no card required. After that, recording time draws on the same hours as your uploads and is billed to the second.
Can meeting participants see the bot?+–
Yes - it joins as a visible participant named Flashscribe Notetaker, so everyone on the call knows it's recording. The host decides whether to let it in.
How long can it record?+–
Up to 4 hours per meeting. It leaves on its own when the call ends, or you can stop it early from your dashboard - you're only billed for what it recorded.
What do I get after the call?+–
A timestamped transcript alongside your other Flashscribe files - searchable, shareable via link, and exportable as TXT, DOCX, PDF, SRT, VTT, or CSV.
Does it work with Zoom or Microsoft Teams?+–
